- Ensure that the person handling the delivery of the massage chair know how to handle it to avoid breakage while in transit. Some companies will cover the damages incurred while the massage chair is in transit while others will not.
- Protect the motherboard against power surge; this can be done by use of a power surge protector as it will ensure that the frequent power fluctuations do not damage the massage chair. Ensure that the power connection is stable as any loose connection could also result in damage.
- Any time you wish to touch the massage chair or the remote control, wipe your hands to avoid passing body discharge to the chair or the remote. If you discover that either the massage chair or the remote are not functioning as they should, unplug it from the power supply for at least twenty-four hours and it will be okay again. If it still does not function, seek professional help.
- Avoid overheating as a result of overusing: Every massage chair has the maximum duration of which it will function well without breaking.
