Basic Requirements for a Foot Spa Massage
To successfully carry out an exceptional foot spa massage, the following are the essential tools and equipment you will require:

• Basic tools: you will require nail clipper, cuticle pusher, scissors, and a nail file. You will also need pumice stones and a buffer which will be used to soften the rough parts of the feet like the heels.
• Equipment: the main equipment you will require for the foot spa massage is a foot bath where the feet will be dipped in the water. You can make your own foot bath or you can buy the more advanced foot bath machine that comes with extra features to make the massage experience better.
• Cleansing products: these will include sterilizing solutions for cleaning the tools being used to ensure that the client will not develop complications as a result of using dirty tools. If a client gets a bacterial infection after having a foot spa massage, you can be sure she will not come back to the spa for more services.
• You will also need foot scrubs, lotion, a towel for drying the feet after the foot spa massage, and a nail polish for the pedicure.
• You may also require some essential oils that you will put in the water and for this, you will choose the fragrance that best appeals to you.
• Rose petals: these are extras that will make the client feel special and appreciated. They will be put in the bath water during the foot spa massage session.
• A glass of powdered milk: this is essential for softening the rough part of the client’s feet. It will be put in the water before the client soaks his feet in the water.

The client will feel better if the environment in the spa will be conducive to make him feel relaxed at ease. Let there be free circulation of air and if possible, use candles or natural light when carrying out the massage.
