For a massage chair to fulfill all that a human massage therapist would and make your clients feel the value for their money, here are the most important settings that must be present in a massage chair:
- Kneading: A client sitting on a massage chair must feel as though two hands are alternatively rubbing his back. This will make the clients get relief from the tension in the muscles and any stress accumulated before he came into your spa.
- Tapping: A good massage chair must make a client have the ‘karate’ feeling on his back as this will enhance the flow of blood. A client will demand such a massage when he has been through an intense exercise.
- Rolling: A massage chair should be able to have a setting where the client will feel as though some wheels are rolling on both sides of the spine. A client who gets this experience will feel as though every bone has been repositioned to where it is supposed to be.
- Full Recline: A good massage chair should have a reclining of between 170 and 180 degrees to enable the client lay down as much as possible. Some clients dislike sitting in one position and they will be grateful to receive the massage while in a laying position.
- Airbag massage: This is not really important but it would make the client enjoy a great foot, arm or a seat massage. It would make your customers keep coming back for more.
