• Professional teeth whitening leads to teeth sensitivity after completion of the process and you will be forced to keep using a sensitivity toothpaste which is quite expensive. Home whitening, on the other hand, will not lead to teeth sensitivity as the concentration of the whitening agents is very low.

The major difference between the two methods is the duration that the changes in the teeth begin to show. For the professional method, the results are immediate while the home whitening will make a longer duration to show.
