Whitening False Teeth
Not every person is lucky to have all her teeth intact; for one reason or the other; you may find yourself with false teeth. These teeth could either be detachable partial or complete false denture. Here are ways you can whiten the false teeth:

• Whitening using vinegar: You will place the false dentures in a bowl of vinegar and allow them to last overnight. Remove the dentures from the vinegar in the morning and brush them using a soft brush and warm water. The process will leave the false denture looking brighter.

If the dentures are only partial, you will soak them for only twenty minutes to avoid damaging the denture.

• Whitening using bleach: You will take a glass of water and add one tablespoon of bleaching agent. Let the dentures stay in the bleach mixture for thirty minutes and then remove them. Using warm water and a soft toothbrush, wash the dentures gently to get rid of any stain or discoloration on them and finally rinse them.

Ensure the bleach is thoroughly rinsed off as any residue will lead to irritation of the gums when you put the denture on.

• Whitening using baking soda: Soak the dentures in water for a while; take a toothbrush and dip it in baking soda and use it to brush the dentures gently. After you are satisfied with the results, rinse the dentures with cold water.
• Whitening using denture products: there are toothpaste types that are specially made for whitening dentures. Using them can ensure that the teeth remain white and free from any unpleasant stains.

Before using any whitening agent on the dentures, seek the opinion of the dentist so that you will not ruin the dentures in your effort to make them look whiter. You can conduct a patch test before applying the bleach on the entire denture to see how it reacts to the whitening agent. If it does not damage the small patch, you can then dip the entire denture into the whitening agent.
